Deepining the advanced theoretical knowledge and skills over doctrinal approaches within the scope of International Political Economics including the context of Middle East and Islamic Countries such as on Middle Eastern and Islamic economic history and doctrines, theoretical and current issues about the economic and financial structures of the Middle East and Islamic Countries, regional and international economic relations and economic integration potentials of the Middle East and Islamic Countries; being able to derive and evaluate original solutions that can meet the Middle Eastern and Islamic Countries’ societies’ requirements and initiate for new developments; being able to produce scientific works in accordance with ethical values by making original contribution to the literature with a critical perspective; being able to take part in public and private sector organizations in solving national, international and global problems in the field, and having the competencies to provide undergraduate and graduate education are among the target achievements of Political Economics of the Middle East Ph.D. Program for its graduates. Medium of instruction of the program is Turkish.
